The timeless Babele desktop set, with an ever-contemporary distinctive design, both austere and elegant, takes its name from the as well historical letter tray. The desktop set items belonging to the large Babele family are the Babele letter tray, the Modus desk pad, the Podio letter rack, the Slim pencil tray, the Centobuchi pencil cup and the Memo memo pad holder.

Kuno Prey
Kuno Prey was born in San Candido, in the Dolomites, in 1958.
He studied art and furniture design, took a diploma in Applied Arts and started co-operating within the industrial sector pursuing his research into materials and new technologies.
In 1981 he opened a practice in San Candido and he attended the 1st International Course of specialisation in Design, in the province of Naples, where he met the masters Ettore Sottsass and Gaetano Pesce. He completed his training in Milan at the Domus Academy.
He then moved to Weimar, in Germany, where he taught Product Design at the Bauhaus Universitt of Weimar, at the same time pursuing his activity of designer and working for well-known brands: Alessi, Danese, Nava, Rexite, Rosenthal, Valextra, Zanotta... thanks to which he was awarded international prizes. He currently lives and works between Weimar and San Candido.
